The Phillip Island Visitor Information Centre is located on the left side of the road, one kilometre over the bridge onto Phillip Island at 895 Phillip Island Tourist Road, Newhaven. The Information Centre stocks a range of maps and information on activities at Phillip Island. There is also information shelter with information to assist visitors with accommodation, attractions, events and free maps.

Phillip Island Pengiun Parade
Australias most popular natural wildlife attraction and winner of the Victorian Tourism Awards for Ecotourism. The world famous Penguin Parade takes place at dusk and the penguins return home from the sea and waddle ashore to their sand dune burrows. There are multiple options for seeing the penguins, from the General Viewing stand, to the Penguins Plus option with a smaller viewing stand with a wildlife ranger or you can take a Private Evening tour hike to a beach to experience the penguins up close with night vision glasses.

Short-tailed Shearwaters at Cape Woolamai

Cape Woolamais headland is an important breeding colony of the Short-tailed Shearwater or Australian Muttonbird. Short-tailed Shearwaters arrive on Phillip Island within a few days of 24 September after a 16,000 km migration from the waters off the Aleutian Islands near Alaska. If you get up before dawn you will see them coming out of their burrows and taking off for the day to find krill. They return at dusk.

Churchill Island
This tiny Island of 57 hectares is open to the public as an historic working farm that boasts significant natural and cultural values with world-class wetlands, Churchill Island Marine National Park, ancient Moonah trees, heritage gardens and historic buildings. Enjoy a meal in the licensed Churchill Island cafe with spectacular bay views.

The Colonnades
The Colonnades are a basalt rock formation at Cape Woolamai weathered over millions of years to create a dramatic organ pipes on the cliff face.They are accessible from Woolamai Road and are best seen are best seen at low tide. There is a good walking track to the site, taking about an hour, accessed from the Woolamai Surf Beach carpark.

Forrest Caves
A kilometre further west along Phillip Island Road from the Woolamai Road intersection, is the turn-off left to Forrest Caves. Large caverns in the rock created have been created by the waves. Low tide is the best time to go there.

Wildlife Coast Cruises
Wildlife Coast Cruises offer an eco-cruise out to Seal Rock (one of Australias largest seal colonies) to witness the Seals in their natural environment. Phillip Island is home to a number of unique wildlife species such as Australian Fur Seals, Little Penguins, Koalas and seabirds, Wildlife Coast Cruises takes you up close to witness and enjoy these species in their natural environment.

Phillip Island Helicopters operate scenic flights from Phillip Island Airport, located just 2 minutes from Woolamai Beach Hideaway. They have 5 standard flights around the island, all with spectacular views of the Island. You can also tailor a flight to suit your needs.

Phillip Island Chocolate Factory
Phillip Island Chocolate Factory provides tours to see their chocolate being hand made by the chocolatiers. The chocolate is high quality and is known for its creamy texture and slight hint of vanilla.

Phillip Island Golf Course
Phillip Island Golf Course has long been regarded as one of the finest in regional Victoria. Only metres from the beach, the course carves its way through a magnificent landscape with exceptional greens. The course measures 5963 metres with a par of 72.

Rhyll Trout & Bushtucker Farm
Beautifully landscaped and designed, this is a great place to catch a trout. It is suitable for beginners or the experienced fishperson. Barbeque facilities are also available free of charge for you to cook your prize catch.

Paul Staffords Spice Island Cooking School offers a fun-filled afternoon with an array of Spice Island Cooking School offers classes in a contemporary, hands on environment. A variety of cooking styles are on offer.

Phillip Island Vineyard and Winery
Sunday afternoon musical afternoons are a special treat. Enjoy a relaxed tasting of these medal winning local wines in the charming cottage, and perhaps a glass with a gourmet food platter. Sit by the wood fire overlooking Bass Strait or in the delightful courtyard with views beyond Phillip Island and Westernport to the Mornington Peninsula.

Purple Hen Vineyard and Winery
Purple Hen Winery produces premium cool climate wines in a beautiful part of Phillip Island. They produce elegant wines that drink well at bottling and improve with bottle age.

National Vietnam Veterans Museum
This national recognised museum is dedicated to the preserving and displaying of photographs, memorabilia, vehicles and aircraft that accurately detail the history of Australian involvement in the Vietnam War from 1962-1972.

Phillip Island Circuit
The Phillip Island Circuit offers go-karting, circuit tours, and hot laps to large and small groups. The go-karting track is over 720m long and in some places over 8m wide and is based on a scale replica of the 4.445km world famous Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.

The Island Spa
This purpose-built day spa is nestled amongst the gum trees and koalas, away from the crowds.
